All Things Christmas Around the World opened Saturday, Nov 23 at Artisans on the Square in Greenville with a reception from 2 – 5 pm.  

This exhibit of nativities and antique toys is from the personal collection of Annie Louise (Toots) and Ed Hobson from Greenville, who traveled extensively during Ed’s career in the US Air Force, including being stationed in Germany for 22 years and in England for 2 years. Their collection continued to grow after Ed’s retirement through their love of travel and collecting and also that
of their son, Edward C. Hobson, who lived for many years in Africa while serving in Security for the US Peace Corps. The collection includes many very old pieces purchased from local vendors, craftsmen and antique shops. Free to the public, children and groups are welcome.
