Christmas Around the World

     This display is from the personal collection of Annie Louise (Toots) and the late Ed Hobson from Greenville, GA, who traveled extensively during Ed’s career in the US Air Force, including being stationed in Germany for 22 years and in England for 2 years.  Their collection continued to grow after Ed’s retirement through their love of travel and collecting and also that of their son, Edward C. Hobson, who lived for many years in Africa while serving in Security for the US Peace Corps.  Toots and Ed purchased from local vendors and craftsmen, as well as antique shops as they traveled, so the collection includes some very old pieces.
