BACKSTORY:

Not Far from Reykjavik 3 The state of the planet weighs heavily on me, approaching a political swing in my painting directions that I’ve always tried to avoid. I find that seeking out the sheer beauty of nature and all the resources Earth still has to offer us, a comfort, regardless of the incessant insults we humans keep dishing out to it. Ironically, the wilds of all the Iceland pieces seemed so close in distance to the beautiful modern city of Reykjavik. It’s a pretty small island.
