BACKSTORY:

An Irresistible.
The odd heavy shapes that come from long slender stems- that’s just crazy. My first in a series was a large predictably vertical Iris painting that was very light and airy. Both of my daughters have called dibbs on it, so, upon my demise, I will be happy to not be around to see who actually ends up with it…! These particular Sun Irises came from a dense garden with hidden weeds and the benefit of some strong sunlight to showcase them. I feel an affection for them all, irises AND daughters too
